Brandied Blue Cheese Bread

I published this post over a year ago, but didn’t have photos added.  I figure it’s high time to re-publish it….with photos, and a full explanation of just how amazing this really is.

Warning: This is probably just as bad for you as eating KFC.  In fact, I didn’t take a picture of an individual slice of bread because, um, health freaks would freak out.  I’m a health freak, and had to ban the image from my mind.  It was….almost see-through.  That’s how much butter and cheese there is in this bread.

But you just can’t think about that.  Because…well, because it’s just SO GOOD!  So pour yourself a glass of wine, close your eyes, and pretend that you are not eating a bucket full of calories.  And if you really feel guilty about it, just do 10 jumping jacks – I’m sure that will even it all out.

Okay, moving on.

Folks: this bread has brandy in it.  And blue cheese.  And all kinds of other delicious awesomeness.

And the best part?  You grill it.  I love summertime because I get all the dishes ready, and my hubby does all the cooking.  It’s a great trade off, and I’m really great at supervising, which I always do with a glass of wine in hand.

I did this the other day, but I used Bree because my hubby doesn’t like blue cheese, it was amazing (other than my hubby burnt the bottom)
