July Vegan Food Swap
My often mentioned fellow foodie and real-life bestie, Megan over at The Gluten Free Vegan has been blogging about a couple food swaps she’s joined. She inspired me to signup, and I just made the deadline for one of them for July.
The one that I participated in for July was the Canadian vegan food swap created by MeShell.ca. Even though I’m not vegan, I thought it would be fun!
My package came from Jennifer over at diary of a flâneuse (P.S. Jenn, I’m sorry for being late in writing this!). It was her first time joining too, and she just happened to be visiting her in-laws who just happen to live in the same city as I do, so she dropped the package off right at my front door!
And what a package it was!
Not everything was vegan, but I certainly didn’t mind! Roasted seaweed, bunny grahams, organic milk chocolate with butterscotch pieces, edamame miso ramen, purple rice and black sesame rice crackers, pure castile soap, and Burt’s Bee’s moisturizing cream. I haven’t had a chance to try the ramen or the moisturizing cream yet, but I’m sure I’ll love both! My favorite (and my toddler’s favorite!) were the bunny grahams, and I heart roasted seaweed, so that was another one that I gobbled right up. Thanks so much for the awesome package Jenn – you were an awesome first time penpal!
